Who are BigTed?
BigTed is proud to be a British brand offering the biggest and fluffiest soft toys in the UK. We believe in creating high quality and responsibly made teddies, to offer lasting and unforgettable memories in people's lives. Our soft toys are designed in NYC by our two talented designer Juan and Hanna and brought to life in our workshop in Birmingham. With BigTed we wish to support an intelligent and localised production, that is why we are working exclusively and closely with European suppliers. Bringing together the best people and most luxurious materials.
Our History
Receiving a BigTed is an experience unlike any other. It was natural for us to find a way to make this experience as accessible as possible for children in need. For each BigTed bought we donate a 15cm teddy bear to a child in need.
Milestones
March 2021: the first BigTed was sold to its new owner.
August 2021: 1000 teddies were sent to their new families.
January 2022: BigTeds' are now delivered around Europe.
How our bears are made
Step 1 - Designing
BigTed soft toys are designed in NYC by our talented designers Juan and Hanna.
Step 2 - Creating
Our bears are brought to life with the most luxurious materials by our trusted suppliers in Europe.
Step 3 - Stuffing
Each bear is carefully stuffed, steam-cleaned and brushed by our team of teddy experts in Birmingham.
Step 4 - Shipping
Each bear goes through a quality control process before being shipped from our workshop in our giant gift box.
