Your BigTed will come in a beautifully designed gift box straight from our headquarters in Birmingham, England. To ensure the highest quality, we NEVER vacuum compress BigTed, so you can expect the perfect teddy straight out the box, a great surprise for your loved ones.
Yes. We only have big teddy bear delivery using DPD Special Next Day Signed Delivery. All deliveries are fully insured, trackable and will require a signature.
You must notify us by email or phone call within 3 working days of delivery for any damages.
Stock levels are indicated on the product pages. If the stock level does not show then the item is out of stock or a made to order item.
Out of stock or made-to-order items can take 8-10 weeks. However, this timeframe can vary greatly. It’s best to Contact Us to get a more exact timeframe and know about your giant teddy bear delivery.
Our Teddies
Because of its heavy weight and zip, BigTed is not suitable for unsupervised children under 3 years old.
The invoices are never included in your package and always sent via email.
Our 2m teddies are about 17kg.
Your 2m BigTed will be sent in a 100x60x60cm box.
Your 1m BigTed will be sent in a 50x50x50cm box.
Your BabyTed will be sent in a 20x10x10cm box.
We recommend steam cleaning your BigTed to keep its fur nice and fresh. Alternatively, if your bear needs a deep clean, you can unstuff your teddy and dry clean the skin.
Yes, while its stay at the Teddy hospital your teddy will be carefully checked, repaired, steam cleaned and brushed before being sent back to you. The repairs are on us, you will only have to cover the shipping to us and the shipping back to your home.
We understand that large stuffed toys can be very high maintenance especially when they are loved by little ones. Your teddy is more than welcome to visit us any time it might need a little freshen up!
Personalisation
Yes, you can embroid the name of your choice under the right foot of your BigTed.
Allow up to 10 working days for your customised teddy to be dispatched.
No, custom orders cannot be returned.
No, custom order cannot be exchanged.
Once processed your order cannot be cancelled.
Yes, you have until the order is processed to amend your order.
Returns
BigTed operates a 14 day returns policy
- Any product (excluding bespoked or customised products/gift vouchers/gift cards) may be returned for refund or exchange within 14 days of the purchase date, providing that the goods are unopened, have all tags on and in its original condition and original packaging*
- A valid proof of purchase is required for any return.
- The customer is responsible for paying all postage/shipping costs incurred when returning the product unless we state in writing otherwise.
- Any faults or damages to the goods must be declared within 3 days of delivery to us by email.
*Please do not write on the box as your return will not be accepted.
Items must be returned within 14 days of receipt unused, unopened, have all tags on and in its original condition and original packaging*, your return must be in a re-sellable condition.

Where an item is damaged or returned otherwise than as per our stated requirements above, we reserve the right to refuse redress.
Before returning, you must contact our customer service team via email at sales@big-ted.co.uk who will supply you with a returns number. Once we have confirmed the return, the goods must be sent back within 10 working days.

Bespoke and custom orders cannot be exchange or return.
Only the buyer is eligible for a refund or exchange, if your BigTed has been gifted to you, the customer who placed the order must contact us directly.
Once the unwanted item is received back to the warehouse it will be checked and granted it meets our return policy conditions, we will then offer a refund for this item. Refunds will be applied to the payment method that was used to purchase the item.
