Your contract of purchase is made through the website with BigTed. BigTed is the trading name of Acqua Retail Ltd, registered company 12872017.
Contract for the sale of any goods shall exist between you and BigTed. as soon as payment has been made for the order and you will receive a confirmation email, this e-mail amounts to an acceptance by BigTed. of your offer to buy goods from BigTed. or a third party supplier that is engaged on your behalf by BigTed. (whether or not you receive that e-mail).
If in the unlikely circumstance an error is found with the price of the goods ordered then we will inform you via email or telephone as soon as we can. Depending on the circumstance, we will offer a refund or alternative proposal.
Images on the website are solely for illustrative purposes only. The actual product may differ in size, colour and/or design from the images shown and dimensions stated.
All prices on the website are inclusive of VAT.
BigTed shall not be liable for any penalty loss injury damage or expense arising from the delay or failure in delivery or performance from any cause at all nor shall any such delay or failure entitle the Customer to refuse to accept any delivery or performance of or repudiate the Contract.
Any dates quoted by the Company for delivery of the Goods are approximate only and shall not form part of the Contract and the Customer acknowledges that in the performance expected of the Company no regards has been paid to any quoted delivery dates.
Delivery
BigTed reserve the right to change the delivery cost without any prior warning. In the unlikely event that this does occur, we will contact you to inform you the specifics. You will have the option to cancel your order without penalty.
*Next Day Delivery is subject to the items being in stock and non personalised.
If you require re-delivery for any reason, BigTed reserve the right to charge additional delivery costs. Should you wish to cancel the order at this point, BigTed reserve the right to deduct the cost of the initial delivery charge plus any extraneous costs incurred as a result of the goods being returned to us/or direct to our suppliers.
Warranty Policy
BigTed offer a 1 year limited warranty on all teddies from the date of delivery.
Warranty will become void if products are misused or not maintained correctly. Warranty will be void if the product has been modified or altered in any way. Warranty excludes tears, stains and breakages.
Follow the standard returns policy stated below for all faulty goods.
Returns Policy
Items must be returned within 14 days of receipt unused, unopened, have all tags on and in its original condition and original packaging*, your return must be in a re-sellable condition.
*Please do not write on the box as your return will not be accepted.
Where an item is damaged or returned otherwise than as per our stated requirements above, we reserve the right to refuse redress.
Before returning, you must contact our customer service team via email at [email protected] who will supply you with a returns number. Once we have confirmed the return, the goods must be sent back within 10 working days.
The customer is responsible for paying all postage/shipping costs incurred when returning the product unless we state in writing otherwise.
Any faults or damages to the goods must be declared within 3 days of delivery to us by email.
Bespoke and custom orders cannot be exchange or return.
Only the buyer is eligible for a refund or exchange, if your BigTed has been gifted to you the customer who placed the order must contact us directly.
Once the unwanted item is received back to the warehouse it will be checked and granted it meets our return policy conditions, we will then offer a refund for this item. Refunds will be applied to the payment method that was used to purchase the item.
Right to Cancel
Under the Consumer Protection Regulations 2000. You have the right to cancel your purchase. However, you must notify us in writing, either via email or post no later that 48 days prior to the delivery date selected. Telephone calls are not a valid form of cancellation. This is subject to our Returns Policy.
We will refund your debit/credit card once we have received and processed the item as quickly as we can and in any event within 30 days of notice of cancellation. You will be liable for any charges incurred in returning the goods to BigTed or if you fail to return goods you will be liable for any charges incurred in relation to attempts to collect the goods.
Goods must be returned to us within 10 working days of email confirmation of acceptance of return.
Liability
BigTed does not accept liability for any errors or omissions and reserve the right to change information, prices, photography, specifications and descriptions of goods at any time.
